Testimonials
I had no idea what to expect when I started so had no expectations. Since doing the course I feel that I have learnt how to relax and appreciate myself more as a person. I have always suffered from ongoing headaches but rather than treating them with painkillers I feel that the deep breathing and relaxation has helped me enormously and I have not had to take hardly any painkillers for a number of weeks.
B. The best part of the course for me was the visualisation. I loved both of them and felt that I was actually there. They were very calming and they brought back lots of wonderful memories that I could relate the walks too.
C. I would like to see more visualisation.
D. I felt very safe and appreciated during the sessions. No one was there to judge you
E. Yes, I did feel challenged which was very rewarding as I hadn't done anything like this for a number of years, and I very much enjoyed being able to do that.
C. Yes, I would join a dramatherapy group again.
D. For me I am now more able to relax and think about things more clearly. I was so unsure about what to expect during the first session, but after meeting everyone and getting into the course I thoroughly enjoyed the meetings and had no qualms about sharing my thoughts and ideas.
For me I would describe the beginning now and the future as being like a butterfly: egg, caterpillar, chrysalis, butterfly emerging and then being free to fly away and pollinate flowers so that they are able to set seed and bear fruit and complete another life cycle.
Once again thank you Sylvia for involving me in the course and I look forward to meeting up again in June.

The Meditation, visualisation, How the trust and sharing built up and grew with the Group
.
I absolutely felt safe.
Yes I would join again I enjoyed it very much and looked forward to the session each week.
It worked well on zoom , more than I envisaged.
As the sessions progressed and you got to know the other participants, it became more relaxing to share your inner feelings and more rewarding.
I think the request for reflections after some of the exercises either by Imagery, shapes or descriptions was very good as this really helped to get to know and better understand the feelings of the rest of the group and some of their challenges.

I used to feel very tired but relaxed at the end of the sessions, perhaps due to the relaxations and meditation and the dancing .

Doing the drama therapy session after finishing work but I still enjoyed it very much.
